French fries, chocolate and geographicaly pricing, it means 10 cultural differences between Poland and Belgium...

1. My excursion started in Katowice. I was standing at the traffic lights and I was an observer of incredible situation. Some homeless guy was dancing (combination of hip-hop and modern dance) to the techno music. I can't believe I'm saying this but he was so SWAG (or just drunk). This view was as unlikely as sound of techno from doner kebab cab.  I truly wanted to record but I was already late for bus (as always).  I didn't know yet that I will be listening the same music from the doner kebab caps in Brussels every day. I am not joking. Every second shop is kebab cap, but they serve not only kebabs like in Poland.

And they homeless people don't dance.

2. They have such beautiful, old and historic buildings around every corner. We also would have them If not the Second World War. Anyway we can see the difference in the landscape.

3.  Belgians are obsessed with food minatures.

We have cherry tomatoes they cucumbers snack ;).

Tiny sausages in  tiny boxes. Maybe they  buy it to make finger foods or maybe they think they are less caloric?

4. They are addicted to running. Jogging is also popular in Poland but believe me there were crowds running on this track. I was afraid to go.  PS. Look at the trees. How do they grow?

5. Also they are addicted to riding a bicycle. Actually it is a means of transport for them. For us it's usually field of sport.

They don't have parking for bicycles like in Holland and sometimes it could be problem...

6. We have Playboy and they...

7. Look at these showcases!!! And believe me belgian chocolate is realy the best! Even I decided to buy extremely expensive dessert (6,60 euro) to try it. It was worth this.

8. There are two laundries on one street. But in Poland each of us has a washing machine on the property ;)

9. They have dietetic McDonald!

We call it the grocery... but One man`s meat is another man`s poison.

10. And finally the most important thing. Geographicaly pricing! It means that price will be higher in a country that is richer. I have to pay 2 euro for these french fries (!) and 2,59 for Mcflurry in McDonald. In Poland I would never buy such expensive products!

Unfortunately french fries come from Belgium so I had to try them. Supposedly they are fried in two fat that's why they are sooo good.
